WHAT'S NEW AT THE RANGE!

Public Grass Tee Re-Opens

We are delighted to announce that the public grass tee has been renovated and re-opened. For a small fee of $2 per bucket you can now practice your game on a high quality, well maintained grass tee.

Short Game Area

We now boast two practice bunkers, two practice greens and well groomed short game practice facilities for you to utilise at no cost.

Bayside Social Golf Club

To cater for the growing number of patrons that would like to play in an organised monthly competition but don’t have an official handicap, we are delighted to announce the formation of the Bayside Social Golf Club. The BSGC will operate out of The Range and will conduct a monthly event at quality golf courses, allow members to join and gain an AGU Affiliate handicap, provide personal liability cover when playing and offer special members benefits at The Range. Unlimited Range Balls – Weekday Only Special

Want to practise more, hit more balls but don’t feel you can afford it. Try our new Weekday Only Unlimited Range Ball membership. For $35 per week you can hit as many balls as you like at any time – day or night. The promotion is only valid Monday to Friday (you cannot use your entitlement on weekends) and you must sign up for a four week commitment. So there you go, unlimited balls for just over the cost of two large buckets – one less excuse for poor play!!!!!!

Short Game Practice Area

In an effort to provide a premium short game chipping, pitching and bunker area for our patrons dedicated to seriously improving their game, the short game area on the eastern side (adjacent the cemetery) will be reserved for coaching clients and those prepared to pay a small $2 fee. This fee will allow us to maintain the chipping and pitching areas in a first class condition.

Others are free to continue using the second bunker, chipping area and green at the western (George St) end of the driving range. The putting green remains free for all to use.

Golf Science days will also be available where you can have your equipment tested for loft, lie, shaft frequency/flex, length, swing weight and dead weight.
